What you need to know about renting a dumpster.

If this is your first time renting a roll off dumpster then you need to know a few basic things about them such as uses, the process, sizes, and contents.

What can a roll off dumpster be used for?

Common examples of the uses of a roll off dumpster is spring cleanout of a garage or attic, foreclosures on homes, rental property change of renter, and construction debris from remodeling, roofing projects or other home/business construction.

The process of renting a roll of container:

The first step in renting a roll off dumpster would be for you to think about the task you are about to do, and how much junk or debris you will have during and after the task. If you are not certain about this, give us a call! We’ll do our best to try and recommend the container sizes that would fit your job the best.

Next would be to use our online ordering service (link above), fill out a few questions and we’ll have a container out to you right away.

Renting a dumpster that you think is larger than the waste from the job site is probably going to be your best bet, as having to pay for an extra dumpster is not very cost effective.

Think about the actual debris going into the dumpster as certain waste debris are not permitted to be stored in a roll off container. Again, check with us if you’re not certain about this.

Most of our containers have a set time of up to 14 days, so try to plan your job to accommodate within this period.

Pay particularly careful to the amount of weight you’re putting into the container and be sure it’s not over the allowed weight for the container.
